tidbits.

Random tidbits from the phillipines.

-no toilet paper anywhere, had to steal napkins from everywhere we went.
-saw a ridiculous amount of older white men with young asian females, tried sooo hard not to make any assumptions, but couldn't help it.
-wrote a bunch of postcards while there but didn't have time to put them in a mailbox, so i had to send them back with a flight attendent who promised to mail them for me.
-made a superbed in the hostel the last night, it was the only way we could legitimately fit 5 people on 3 single beds.
-saw an unusually large number of transvestites, or "she-males" as the boys called them. Word on the street is that Christian and Hakon thought they were hitting on these 2 girls, when in fact, one was not a girl at all lol.
-garlic rice is the new mashed potato, should be eaten with everything and anything at any time of the day.
-people there speak english, thank god.
-security is absolutely bonkers and there are security guards in every nook and cranny of the mall. Both at the top and the bottom of escalators, in stores, and even at the door to the mall where you get frisked, and your bags checked upon entrance.
-I'm sure there will be more to come as I rememeber.
